Flower Yards

FLOWER YARDS
LOGS | NETWORK | OOC | MEMES | NAVIGATION
Flower Yards are a way for characters to return when they they die in Ellipsa. After the characters die for the first time in the game, a giant flower bud will appear on their designated Season's yard. It's the same flower that's on their phone charms and it carries the scent of the person it belongs to. After three days, the bud will bloom and the character returns from inside the flower. Usually the character drops down gently from the flower, but some flowers may be different than others and spit their characters out. Remember the rule of fun and do what pleases you the most.
After that, every time the character dies they return to the flower and it becomes a bud for three days. If the character disappears from the world (dropped, idled out) then the flower will remain there, but the scent will be gone.
The flower magic works by turning the character's essence into magic that gets teleported into the right Flower Yard. That essence then revives them back to how they were (but sometimes fails a little and may leave scars from their death if players want that).
Even if the characters wouldn't have their flower charms with them, they'll glow for the time it takes for a character to revive from their flower as a sign that this is in progress. A broken flower charm can be replaced by the Research Center and the state of it doesn't affect the revival process. It's mostly there to show the process of the revival.
This post was made to let us know what is growing on each Flower Yard. If your character dies in game, please comment under the right top level and inform us of what flower they grew.
